Description

Soft, sterile, non-woven pad of calcium-sodium alginate fibre which absorbs wound fluid and converts to a firm gel. Designed to control minor bleeding. Gel forms a moist environment at the wound interface and allows trauma-free removal with little or no damage to newly formed tissue. This primary dressing should be used with a secondary cover dressing.
