Highly versatile sutures composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. Special coating offers easy knotting and excellent knot hold, and has a low bacterial adhesion. Smooth passage through tissue. Minimal inflammatory reaction. Low memory. Suture absorption is completed in 42 days by hydrolysis. The hold of the suture will halve after 5 days and be totally lost between 10 to 14 days, with no need to remove stitches.
