T.B.S Effervescent Chlorine Tablets 200pk are fast-dissolving disinfectant tablets from Hydrachem for preparing dosed chlorine solutions for infection control, surface disinfection, body-fluid spills, floors, food-contact surfaces and equipment. Each 3.25g tablet contains 1.7g sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC), providing a stable alternative to liquid bleach. Broad-spectrum activity covers bacteria, bacterial spores, viruses and fungi. Certified to BS EN1276, BS EN1650, BS EN13704 and BS EN13697. General disinfection: dissolve 1 tablet in 1 litre of water to produce 1,000ppm available chlorine and allow 15 minutes. Floors and food-preparation surfaces: 1 tablet in 5 litres for 200ppm; allow 3 minutes, then air dry or wipe with disposable paper towels. Body-fluid spills: 10 tablets in 1 litre for 10,000ppm with a 2-minute contact time. Prepare solutions as required and follow the label, infection-control policy and PPE requirements. Never mix with acids or other cleaning products.
